AccelaBlue Engineering is an independent, PE-led civil and forensic firm in Omaha, Nebraska. One licensed engineer, personally accountable, on every engagement since 2013.
AccelaBlue Engineering, LLC was founded in 2013 as an independent, PE-led civil and forensic engineering firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. The premise has not changed since: sound, conflict-free engineering without the volume pressures of a large firm.
AccelaBlue serves clients nationally across two primary practice areas: civil engineering (site development, project management, economic analysis, energy systems, and infrastructure) and forensic engineering (independent investigations for insurance carriers, attorneys, and property owners).
Both practice areas share the same standard: PE oversight on every engagement, transparent billing, and deliverables that stand up to scrutiny.
Michael R Filips is the founder and principal engineer of AccelaBlue Engineering, LLC. A licensed Professional Engineer in Nebraska with an MBA, he has spent his career on both sides of the work: the engineering itself, and the budgets, schedules, and economics that decide whether a project succeeds. His practice spans civil design, project management, engineering economics, and independent forensic investigation.
Michael's experience includes federal and government project work (USACE), private sector civil and site engineering, project management, economic feasibility analysis, energy systems, and forensic investigations for insurance carriers and legal professionals. He holds NCEES Records for streamlined multi-state PE licensure as project needs require.
As a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (M.ASCE), Michael maintains a commitment to professional standards and ethical engineering practice. Every AccelaBlue engagement, forensic or civil, is personally led by Michael from first contact through final deliverable.
AccelaBlue Engineering, LLC established as an independent PE-led civil engineering firm, with an initial focus on civil design, project management, and federal project work.
Expanded services to include independent forensic engineering investigations for insurance carriers and legal clients. PE-stamped reports and expert witness services introduced.
Added energy systems and renewable engineering to the service portfolio, including solar infrastructure analysis and energy feasibility assessments for civil clients.
Expanded forensic practice to serve insurance carriers, law firms, and property clients nationally. NCEES records established to support multi-state PE licensure as needed.
AccelaBlue remains a deliberately small independent practice: civil engineering, forensic investigations, and energy systems, all PE-led from Omaha.
